Dr Sketchy’s Mystique-al Midweek Session

Dr Sketchy’s Dublin Mystique-al Mid-week session in association Dublin Body Painting Jam with Deirdre J Lynam.

On April 9th, Caitríona Giblin from Sparklicious Studio and Dublin Body Painting Jam transformed model Deirdre J Lynam into Marvel’s super-villain Mystique. This was the third installment of the Dr Sketchy’s Dublin Branch’s monthly midweek sessions, a stripped-back version of the regular monthly session, which features a single model with longer poses, and an “in the round” seating plan.

It’s no secret how much I love Deirdre J, she is a fantastic model and an absolute chameleon. She never fails to rise to the challenge of any Dr Sketchy’s theme, and painted blue from head to toe, striking graceful and athletic poses, she didn’t disappoint!

The Dublin Body Painting Jam will be hosting their first session on May 3rd, and are looking for artists, models and photographers to collaborate. It’s an open call for all shapes and sizes of models, and all levels of skill for artists, body painters and photographers. Unfortunately, I’m going to miss this one, but I’ll definitely be checking out the next session!

Dr Sketchy’s next midweek session takes place on May 7th.

All photos are my own, full photoset available soon on Dr Sketchy’s Website.
